“WAYS TO LIVE FOREVER”

·        Sam: The main character. A 11 year old boy who has leukemia. A real little hero in struggling against his incurable disease. His hobbies is collecting facts and tries to find the answers of all the questions about the death. He wants to write a book about himself to ensure that his last few months will remain in his family’s memory forever.

·        Felix: Sam’s best friend who also has cancer. Funny, risky, always encourages Sam to do what Sam wishes. He died 1 month before Sam does.

·        Ella: Sam’s little sister. A sensitive 8 year old girl, who likes to ask a lot of question, often having fight with mother. She loves her brother so much, but never tells him so.

·        Dad: Sam’s dad who loves his son very much, but doesn’t always show it. He goes to work as much as possible to avoiding the truth that his loving son is dying.

·        Mom: Sam’s caring and thoughtful mother. She stays at home to take good care of Sam every day. She tries to find any way to make Sam happy by helping him to make all his last wishes come true.

·        Granny: Sam’s grandma, who often give Sam many wise advices when he suffers or getting angry by the hurts.

·        Mrs. Willis: Felix and Sam’s special teacher. They don’t learn much in her class, but they do have a lot of fun. Mrs. Willis inspired Sam to start writing his book, having them write down their wishes, encourage them work out to bring their dreams come reality.

·        Mickey: Felix’s older brother. Big and rumpled person, like a sleepy bear

·        Gillian (Felix’s Mom): Felix’s mother. She is also a friend of Sam’s mom

·        Annie: Sam’s crazy and skillful nurse that rides around a pink scooter and calls herself Dracula because she takes kids’blood for tests all the time.

·         Dr. Bill: Sam’s doctor. Who tries very hard to find a cure for Sam’s disease but it’s impossible!
