ABOUT THE AUTHOR:  Eva Ibbotson



   Eva Ibbotson is a Austrian-born British novelist known for her award-winning children's book as well as her novels for adults. 
   Eva was born on the 21st of January 1925 in the city of Vienna of Austria. She had recently died in 2010 at the age of 85. Her real name was Maria Charlotte Michelle Wiesner. Her father's name is Berthold Wiesner who was a physiologist. Her mother is Anna Greyner who was a successful novelist and playwright. Eva attended Dartington Hall School. Originally she wanted to become a physiologist like her father but after some life incidents she decided to be a novelist. 
Book Review: 

Do you ever wonder that some day you can turn people into animals? Hectate Tenbury Smith can turn people into animals and create new animals out of thin air. She's an animal witch, and a recent graduate of a school for good witches. Determined to make the world a better place, Heckie envisions starting a band of Wickedness Hunters. She befriends a boy named Daniel and informs him of her mission to do good by turning bad people into animals. Together, Heckie and Daniel perform many a good deed, such as turning the mean owner of a nursing home into a warthog. But then Heckie falls in love with the coniving Lionel Knacksa. Can Daniel foil Lionel's evil plans and save Heckie from a broken heart? Let's check it out guys! Come on!!!!

My comments about this book:

This book is a really good book worthy for you sitting down spending your time reading it. This book will really amaze you by all the exciting events going on in the book. You will definitely hook into this astonishing plot. You will feel like you are lost in a world of magical adventures and will find yourself feeling very stubborn not wanting to put the book down. I bet that you will have a great time reading it. NOW, start sticking your eyes into it!! IT IS AWESOME!!!!
